Right here in Northeast Georgia there's a financial institution where you're more than just a customer, you're an equal member. And you're treated like one.
Unlike a traditional bank, HALLCO is a not-for-profit organization owned by it's members and directed by a voluntary all-member board of directors.
HALLCO Community Credit Union was founded in 1971. For more than 40 years, we have existed solely for the purpose of serving our members' best interests. Today, HALLCO serves over 9000 members in Dawson, Hall, Lumpkin, and White County, Georgia. Our focus on members instead of profits allows us to offer a full range of financial services specifically designed to meet our members' needs and provide substantial savings.
We are a community chartered credit union. That means membership is available to individuals who live in Dawson, Hall, Lumpkin, or White County. We also extend our benefits to your immediate family members. An immediate family member is defined as a spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, and grandchild. For the purpose of this definition, immediate family also includes stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings, and adoptive relationships. In order to become a member an initial deposit of $5.00 is required.
HALLCO Community Credit Union is a full service financial institution offering a wide range of products and services including, Savings and Checking accounts, auto and mortgage loans, VISA credit cards and Individual Retirement, Certificates, and Money Market accounts.
A voluntary board of directors administers HALLCO Community Credit Union and establishes and reviews policy. The Directors are credit union members who are elected by the membership and serve without pay.
HALLCO Community Credit Union offers the utmost in security to our members. Accounts are insured up to $250,000 through the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a U. S. government agency. |
